I own a HP Pavillion DV6 Laptop in which two days ago as the image attached shows, it has either deleted all my files or is hiding them. I am still allowed to access programs but that is about it. To try and solve the problem I downloaded Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and it found some threatning objects but the problem has still not been resolved. I ran it once in Normal mode and another time in safe mode. I then downloaded Avast and ran that once in Safe Mode and another time in Normal mode. It found some objects but still has not resolved the problem. Just wondering whether someone would kindly help me address the issue.mcfc. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Next, download DDS by sUBs and save it to your Desktop. Double-click on the DDS icon and let the scan run.
