Hello, first of all I apoligize for my english (i am italian). I got a similar trouble (or perhaps the same). I got the pro version of "Malwarebyte's Antimalware" (version 1.51.0.1200)and since several weeks the program is not able anymore to download and install the new definitions. The following error message appears:

AN ERROR OCCURRED. REPORT THIS ERROR CODE TO OUR SUPPORT TEAM

PROGRAM_ERROR_UPDATING (12163, 0, IsInternetConnected)

How can I solve this problem, please? The program has worked properly for a few weeks after I installed it in my PC (OS: Vista Home Premium 32bit SP2) , then update function has suddenly (and without any apparent reason) stopped working.

Hello GasUp:

Please perform a clean uninstall and reinstall. If you're using the PRO version, be sure to have your Product ID and Key handy.

Please do the following using Administrator privileges:

• Download and run the latest version of mbam-clean.exe from here
  
• It will ask to restart your computer, please allow it to do so very important.
  
• After the computer restarts, temporarily disable your Anti-Virus and install the latest version of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from here
  
  • Note: You will need to reactivate the program using the license from the boxed PRO version or sent via email if using the PRO version.
    
  • Launch the program and set the Protection and Registration. Then go to the UPDATE tab if not done during installation and check for updates.
    Restart the computer again and verify that MBAM is in the task tray if using the Pro version. Now setup any file exclusions as may be required in your Anti-Virus/Internet-Security/Firewall applications and restart your Anti-Virus/Internet-Security applications. You may use the guides posted in the FAQ's here or ask and we'll explain how to do it.
