My scans - MBAM, Panda, and HJT Logs

solos

Recommended Posts

I just got done running multiple scanners to include Spybot, MalwareBytes, ccleaner, AVG Antivirus, adaware, ATF cleaner, smitfraudfix, superantispyware, windows defender, among a few others. How this started out, was I got infected with Antivirus 2009, PC Protection 2008, TDSS, and trojan.zlob. I couldn't access the task manager, I couldn't load MBAM, I couldn't even get into safe mode without doing a forced shutdown, well, anyways, I think I have gotten rid of most of the infections (if not all of them) but , I just want to make sure. I did get all functionality back only after ending processes, manually unregistring a few dynamic link libraries and doing some registry editing on top of all the redundant scans and cleaning. so here are my logs.

Please note that all instructions given are customised for this computer only, the tools used may cause damage if used on a computer with different infections.

If you think you have similar problems, please post a log in the HJT forum and wait for help.

Hi and welcome to the Malwarebytes Security Forums

  • The fixes are specific to your problem and should only be used for this issue on this machine!.

  • The process is not instant. Please continue to review my answers until I tell you your machine is clear. Absence of symptoms does not mean that everything is clear.

  • If you don't know, stop and ask! Don't keep going on.

  • Please reply to this thread. Do not start a new topic.

  • Refrain from running self fixes as this will hinder the malware removal process.

Hi

I would like to view a list of currently installed software applications on you're PC. How to provide as follows:

Run HJT and click on Open the Misc Tools section.

  • Click Open Uninstall Manager...
  • Click Save list... and save it to your Desktop.
  • Copy and paste the file uninstall_list.txt into your next reply.

Next:

Pleas disable Windows Defender as follows. This is so the real time protection feature does not hinder the malware removal process.

  1. Go to Start > All Programs > Windows Defender.
  2. Click on Tools at the top.
  3. Under Settings, click on Options.
  4. Under Automatic scanning, uncheck (untick) Automatically scan my computer (recommended) box.
  5. Under Real-time protection options, uncheck (untick) Use real-time protection (recommended) box.
  6. Click on the Save button at the bottom right hand corner.

Next:

Download ComboFix from one of these locations:

Link 1

Link 2

Link 3

* IMPORTANT !!! Save ComboFix.exe to your Desktop

  • Disable your AntiVirus and AntiSpyware applications, usually via a right click on the System Tray icon. They may otherwise interfere with our tools
  • Double click on ComboFix.exe & follow the prompts.
  • As part of it's process, ComboFix will check to see if the Microsoft Windows Recovery Console is installed. With malware infections being as they are today, it's strongly recommended to have this pre-installed on your machine before doing any malware removal. It will allow you to boot up into a special recovery/repair mode that will allow us to more easily help you should your computer have a problem after an attempted removal of malware.
  • Follow the prompts to allow ComboFix to download and install the Microsoft Windows Recovery Console, and when prompted, agree to the End-User License Agreement to install the Microsoft Windows Recovery Console.

**Please note: If the Microsoft Windows Recovery Console is already installed, ComboFix will continue it's malware removal procedures.

RcAuto1.gif

Once the Microsoft Windows Recovery Console is installed using ComboFix, you should see the following message:

whatnext.png

Click on Yes, to continue scanning for malware.

When finished, it shall produce a log for you. Please include the C:\ComboFix.txt in your next reply.

Next:

When completed the above, please post back the following:

  • Uninstall_list.
  • ComboFix.txt.
  • A new HijackThis Log.
