Automatic Updating

Sometimes it updates itself so I am confused.

Yes, the PRO version of MBAM offers a scheduler for automatic updates (and scans).

Scheduler help is available here.

Also, if you open the main UI and click About > Help, you will find more information.

It would be nice if we had the option of choosing the time to search for "Updates" "Starting On"

instead of having the time set to start when you pick the starting time.

In other words if you pick Starting On at 02:36AM that is the time the search will start,

you do not have any other choice except the time you activate this option.

If you want the "Updates" "Start On" to be 10:00AM then you have to activate this option at exactly 10:00AM

I think I understand what you are describing.

Did you look at the tutorial in the link in my post above?

Actually, one can set the time for any time.

There is no drop-down menu, but if you highlight the numbers in the box, you can type anything you want to enter any time.

(It's not very intuitive, to be sure, but it works fine, once you know how to do this.)

You can do the same for the scan scheduler & the updater scheduler.
