  2. This is taking a while for this issue and I am a paying customer also. What is the latest update for this issue?
  3. dcollins, I gave you a PM just now, with my email address. Thanks dcollins for your help. Have a great weekend and 4th of July.
  4. I have rebooted my machine and am still having the same problem. I have Windows 7 Pro, all updates are current. Also "Logs have been uploaded successfully!". Awaiting support response.
  5. dcollins, I updated to Component Package 1.0.390 and still need to disable "Web Protection" to load my home page. Nothing has changed. I see "Waiting for start.att.net..." on the lower left of my browser window. When I disable MB Web Protection, my home page loads immediately. Here is a screen shot of my MB Version Information. Stay Safe, Bruce
  6. You said the issue is with 1.0.374, is this a data base?
  7. If you have a "Schedule Scan" set don't forget to uncheck update before scanning. This check box is located under "Settings" "Edit Schedule Scan" and listed below "Frequency and Settings".
  8. This is the response I received from Malwarebytes Support: Tim (Malwarebytes Support) Jun 12, 17:19 PDT Hi Bruce‍. Welcome to Malwarebytes support, my name is Tim E. and I’ll be assisting you today. Thank you for that information. This is something we are currently looking in to. For now we only have 2 choices until the problem is found: Turn off Web Protection to access the site. Roll back to version 3.5.0 If you're interested in rolling back to 3.5.0 please let me know. If not I will let you know as soon as I have more information. Thank you, Tim E. | Malwarebytes Consumer Support | support.malwarebytes.com
  9. It would be nice if we had the option of choosing the time to search for "Updates" "Starting On" instead of having the time set to start when you pick the starting time. In other words if you pick Starting On at 02:36AM that is the time the search will start, you do not have any other choice except the time you activate this option. If you want the "Updates" "Start On" to be 10:00AM then you have to activate this option at exactly 10:00AM
  10. My machine is now up and running with McAfee Total Protection 2010 and MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware 1.50.1.1100 both running simultaneously. I have run a scan with only McAfee scanning, I have run a scan with only MBAM scanning and I have run a scan with both programs scanning simultaneously. I also ran a scan with Trojan Remover while McAfee and MBAM were scanning with no problems. I was surfing the internet and used Microsoft Word during all this and still no problems. The scanning speeds seem to be quite good also. In the MalwareBytes
  11. I did not have a problem with registering my PRO version. I did not have an issue. I said I found the mbam-clean.exe after I did a search for clean install, under ISSUE: After purchasing, when I enter my ID and Key, I am told that my ID and Key are invalid. Thanks for the help.
  12. Hey MattsComputers, I have a desktop machine: Win XP Pro SP3 Pentium 4 3.00 GHz 2.99 GHz 3GB RAM 130GB HD Thanks for the response.

  14. gromit60 go information thanks. I do not have the TROJAN.FAKEALERT as I have the Pro MBAM. Go info just the same, we all need to keep up on these threats.
  15. The PRO (Paid) version uses the same scanning and detection as the free version. The only difference in the free and Pro is the Pro offers realtime protection feature and automatic updates feature.
  16. nick2124 mentioned (especially as I paid for the full version). And you answered
  17. I have searched all over this forum for solutions to fix the freezes I am getting using McAfee Total Protection 2010 that has McAfee Security Center 10.5, McAfee Virus Scan 14.5. I have a paid version of MBAM Pro and since the upgrade from Ver. 1.46 to Ver. 1.50 I am experiencing freezes. I have tried the registry editing suggestions, and am now going to try the solution of adding the McAfee folders and the Drive files to the ignore list in Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware 1.50 and see if that corrects the freezing problem I am experiencing. Also during my search for solutions I ran across the suggestion of using the mbam-clean.exe Ver.1.50.1.0003 after the un-install of MBAM. Why not add a Pinned Topic with all these suggestions for the fixes to McAfee 2010 products. It is a pain to go on a goose hunt all over this forum to gather all these suggestions/fixes with some suggestions for a lot older versions of this software and nothing for the newer version. Also I had no idea that MBAM had the mbam-clean.exe Ver.1.50.1.0003 to clean any left over remnants after the un-install, and found this after hours of searching and reading. I would think this would be in procedures for a clean install of something along those lines. I tried searching
  18. My paid for MalwareBytes Pro 1.50 does indeed conflicts with McAfee Total Protection 2010, that has McAfee Security Center 10.5 McAfee Virus Scan 14.5 The freeze ups I am getting are on my Desktop machine, my MBAM Pro works just fine on my Laptop using the same OS Win XP Pro, SP3 and the same Virus Protection as my Desktop. I have uninstalled MBAM on my Desktop and McAfee Total Protection 2010 is working just fine. I am going to reinstall MBAM Pro 1.50 and add the I am going to add the following folders and files to the ignore list in Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware 1.50 and see if that corrects the freezing problem I am experiencing.I will post back here with the results. And yes I did run the mbam-clean.exe Ver.1.50.1.0003 after I did the uninstall. Folders: C:\Program Files\McAfee C:\Program Files\McAfee.com C:\Program Files\Common Files\McAfee Files: C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\mfeapfk.sys C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\mfeavfk.sys C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\mfebopk.sys C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\mfeclnk.sys C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\mfefirek.sys C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\mfehidk.sys C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\mfendisk.sys C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\mferkdet.sys C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\mfetdi2k.sys
  19. First thanks for the posts, they helped me get my McAfee Total Protection and MalwareBytes Ver. 1.50.1.1100 working together. My machine ended with "ExcludedItem_20" My first string value I entered for the MalwareBytes string was "ExcludedItem_21" and on to "ExcludedItem_25" My question is in the Screen Shot.doc
