my computer was infected with the "Antivirus.net" trojan, which totally made my computer useless -- i could not go to any website, nor could i open almost all programs.

luckily, i did a "google" search on my gf's computer and discovered Malwarebytes -- i ran the scanner, which found over 70 occurences of viruses or spyware, and now my computer is running perfectly.

as i work for myself on my own computer, i am SO-O-O grateful -- this problem potentially could have cost me thousands of dollars in my time spent trying to fix it (or having someone else fix it).
