NTUSER.DAT scanned?

Recommended Posts

Many of the machines in my office are logged onto at various times by different users within our AD domain. As a result they have multiple NTUSER.DAT files on them. My understanding is that only the one for the currently logged in user is being used as the HKEY_CurrentUser hive.

When Malwarebytes is run, are the NTUSER.dat(s) for the unlogged-in users scanned as if they were valid HKEY_CurrentUser hives, or do I need to be attentive to which user is logged in when the problem occurrs?
