1.50 update computer crash

hi, i recently updated my malwarebytes to 1.50 and it told me to restart my computer. when i restarted my computer and load me to my desktop, my computer froze. idk why its happening, i havent downloaded anything lately other than the new version. it runs fine in safe mode however everytime i start it up normally it would freeze. has anybody encountered this problem? is there a way to fix this? i already uninstall my old malwarebytes but it still doesnt work.
