Any help would be great. The problem is my computer is very slow and my resources are getting eaten up by something. I'm getting a lot of errors in the event viewer called "Service Control Manager" with a few event numbers, i.e. 7000, 7001, and a few other ones. Another error I am getting is "Dcom" local service, event number 10016. I ran hjt and my log file is included. Thanks again for your help......

Sorry, I am breaking all the rules. I didn't fully read the pinned instructions. I will re post after I try the other things mentioned in the instructions. :-)

Hi and welcome to Malwarebytes.

Are you experiencing any actual symptoms of infection?

Next, please run the PCPitstop Full Tests here. When the tests are complete, a results page will pop up. Copy and paste the URL of the Results screen and post it here for me.

Next, download DDS by sUBs and save it to your Desktop.

Double-click on the DDS icon and let the scan run. When it has run two logs will be produced, please post DDS.txt directly into your reply.
