Hello. Everytime i attempt to log on to the internet my virus protection gives me a popup that states was trying to connect to CLKH71YHKS66.com. I have run 3 different virus scans with no luck and unsure how to proceed. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks very much.

I have not been able to open any of your zip files. Get & run this next report and Copy & Paste the report In-line within the reply box.

Download and SAVE HijackThis

Save the HJT to your desktop or the folder of your choice, then navigate to that folder and double-click Hijackthis.exe to start it.

Do a "Scan and Save log".

Use NOTEPAD to look at report and then Select All & Copy

then Paste into reply box.

its starts with 016 - DPF then a lot of stuff i have no idea about and WUWebcontrol. I have been trying to split it up into multiple lines or add something to it so that it will accept it but have been unable to find anything tthat will allow it to update.

There is one line of data missing. If I copy that single line and paste it into window it will not upload.

Do tell me what line is missing.

Do tell me why you are not putting the whole log into one reply?

It is frustrating to get bits and separate pieces.

As much as possible, see to it that (at least) all of HijackThis log and all of following logs are within the same reply.

You will want to print out or copy these instructions to Notepad for Safe Mode/offline reference!

These steps are for this member only. If you are a casual observer, do NOT try this on your system!

If at any point, if you have a question or problem, STOP & make a post to the forum.

Also, do not run or start any other programs while these utilities and tools are in use!

Please do NOT run any other tools on your own or do any fixes other than what is listed here.

Close and exit Spysweeper as it will interfere with our fixes.

Step 1

Close all browsers and all other programs that you have started.

Start HijackThis. Look for these lines and place a checkmark against each of the following, if still present

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings,ProxyServer = http=127.0.0.1:6522
Click on Fix Checked when finished and exit HijackThis.

Make sure your Internet Explorer (& or any other window) is closed when you click Fix Checked!

Step 2

Set Windows to show all files and all folders.

On your Desktop, double click My Computer, from the menu options, select tools, then Folder Options, and then select VIEW Tab and look at all of settings listed.

"CHECK" (turn on) Display the contents of system folders.

Under column, Hidden files and folders----choose ( *select* ) Show hidden files and folders.

Next, un-check Hide extensions for known file types.

Next un-check Hide protected operating system files.

Step 3

Download TFC by OldTimer to your desktop

  • Please double-click TFC.exe to run it. (Note: If you are running on Vista or Windows 7, right-click on the file and choose Run As Administrator).
  • It will close all programs when run, so make sure you have saved all your work before you begin.
  • Click the Start button to begin the process. Depending on how often you clean temp files, execution time should be anywhere from a few seconds to a minute or two. Let it run uninterrupted to completion.
  • IF prompted to Reboot, reply "Yes".

Step 4

Disable your AntiVirus and AntiSpyware applications, usually via a right click on the System Tray icon. They may otherwise interfere with our tools

For directions on how, see How To Temporarily Disable Your Anti-virus, Firewall And Anti-malware Programs

Do NOT turn off the firewall

Please download Rkill by Grinler and save it to your desktop.

Link 2
Link 3
Link 4
Double-click on the Rkill desktop icon to run the tool.
If using Vista, right-click on it and Run As Administrator.
A black DOS box will briefly flash and then disappear. This is normal and indicates the tool ran successfully.
If not, delete the file, then download and use the one provided in Link 2.
If it does not work, repeat the process and attempt to use one of the remaining links until the tool runs.
If the tool does not run from any of the links provided, please let me know.
If your antivirus program gives a prompt message, respond positive to allow RKILL to run.
If a malware-rogue gives a message regarding RKILL, proceed forward to running RKILL

Step 5

Please download & save Malwarebytes Anti-Malware from

http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam-download.php or

http://www.besttechie.net/tools/mbam-setup.exe or

http://malwarebytes.gt500.org/mbam.jsp

Double Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application.

  • Make sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
  • If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
  • Once the program has loaded, select Perform Quick Scan, then click Scan.
  • The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient.
  • When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
  • Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
  • When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart.(See Extra Note)
  • The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
  • Copy & Paste the entire report in a new reply as soon as it has finished.

Extra Note:

If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove, you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts, click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process,if asked to restart the computer, please do so immediately.

Once Complete, reboot! !

Run Hijackthis

Then close all windows/applications/browsers and run hijackthis, saving the log.

After following the above, post back with

  • 1. Contents of the MBAM log
    2. New Hijackthis log;
    3. Tell me, How is your system now ?

Be sure to do a Preview prior to pressing Submit because all reports may not fit into 1 single reply. You'll likely have to do more than 1 reply.

Do not use the attachment feature to place any of your reports. Always put them in-line inside the body of reply.

I apologize for the bits and pieces. What I believe to be true now and didn't know before was that anything I attempt to copy and paste that includes said line will not go through. Initially my thoughts were that for some reason what I was pasting was too large so I copied a signifigant portion less which was accepted. My second attempt then included the said line of text again, so I copied less and so on until I figured out that it was the actual line causing the problem. Everything above and below that one line will transfer without a problem. I tried to google that line and it send me to the same cannot connect page that I PM'd you about. The line starts 016 - DPF: {
