Antivir Solution Pro. jumped on my system from a website about a musician nothing I would have thought to worry about. I thought I was able to get rid of it running Malwarebytes from Safe Mode. Ha! The system runs for a while then IT turns off the computer. Ouch!

I'm trying to save some data before I wipe the drive. I've copied a couple of files to another PC which has Malwarebytes running but detects no threats. However, every time I open browser Malwarebytes reports it blocked access to a malicious website: 66.235.126.55.

I ran HJT a little while ago and got the following report. However, I just ran it again and got the usual malware blocking screen:

"For some reason your system denied write access to the Hosts file. If any hijacked domains are in this file . . . "
