Windows XP Pro freeze on restart (All modes)

Recommended Posts

Hi,

My computer got infected with a malware (Windows Antivirus) and when I ran MBAM it completed 80% scan. But then the system hung up. Sometimes my Anti virus (McAfee) causes this hang and I had to press the hard button. Now when I restart, the system is not booting at all in any modes (Safe mode, Regular, Safe mode with command prompt). I am just seeing a black screen when Windows is trying to boot and nothing else. Ctrl-Atl-Del is not working either.

Please help.

OS: Win XP Pro

M/C: Lenovo T61.

Anti Virus: McAfee

Thanks,

ARA.
