hendu3270 Posted May 5, 2008 ID:17650 Share Posted May 5, 2008 I've been searching over the weekend and this morning on any info I can fins concerning removing the "worm.win32.netbooster2" crap from my machine. I've run "Ad-aware", and it didn't find any issues. I've purchased and run "Spyhunter 3", it fouynd many items and "supposedly" removed them all. McAfee found nothing and system is fine. I still get popups saying my system is infected and has spyware installed. Regardless of what I click on it pops up IE to some anti-spyware site. If it was my personal computer, I probably would throw it in the trash and buy another one, but this is my work computer. Any help? And i appologize if this is in the wrong location. :-)

JeanInMontana Posted May 5, 2008 ID:17664 Share Posted May 5, 2008 Hi again. Get rid of Spyhunter is my advice, the makers walk a fine line between rogue and real. And do as you already are in the HJT forum.
