Windows 7 64 bit using protection OK?

Recommended Posts

I have not found a clear answer to the question if its Ok to us the protection module in 64 bit Windows 7. I had read some postings where they said it could mess up the computer. I just purchased the full version and noticed that it would hand IE the first time IE was run then everything works fine after that. I just want to be on the safe side. I know that this is not a 64 bit application. Should it only be used for scanning and cleaning or can it be used to protect the computer also.

Thanks

Thanks for the information I just wanted to make certain that things were good to go.

Greetings usatraveler :)

The Protection Module is indeed compatible with Windows 7 64 bit. We have many users here on the forum that use it with 7 x64 and it is also listed as a compatible OS under the system requirements on this page:

If you need anything else just post.

Thanks :)
