Error Code: 707 (3,0)

I tried downloading Malwarebytes, got the CreativeProcess failed; code 2 error. I then downloaded the randomized renamed mbab.exe and moved it to the Malwarebytes folder, but when I tried to run it I got Error Code: 707 (3, 0). What should I do next?

Error 707: Error during enumeration of languages. Please reinstall the application.

Please try this on the computer that is having an issue.

1. Uninstall Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware using Add/Remove programs in the control panel.

2. Restart your computer (very important).

3. Download and run this utility. mbam-clean.exe

4. It will ask to restart your computer (please allow it to).

5. After the computer restarts, install the latest version from here. mbam-setup.exe

Note: You will need to reactivate the program using the license you were sent - (Same process for free version)

Launch the program and set the Protection and Registration. Then go to the UPDATE tab if not done during installation and check for updates.

Restart the computer again and verify that MBAM is in the task tray and that you can run a quick scan and all is working as expected.

Okay I removed the program, but when I tried to run mbam-clean I recieved the message "SHGetValue failed with error code 0." Another post on this forum dealing with the same problem recommended disabling any other antivirus software I have running, but this didn't work either. What should I do?

Just an ask ? You did restart after the Add/Remove uninstall - It is usually asks to do it automatically -

Two possibilities:

1) Your anti-virus is causing a problem.

2) Your computer is infected with something that is causing a problem.

Either way, you best bet is to send an e-mail to support@malwarebytes.org
