Trojan.Agent found in Registry but won't delete.

Recommended Posts

Hello, thanks in advance for any and all help. Every time I run a scan with MBAM, it only finds one infection:

Registry Keys Infected:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\{F9197A7E-CE10-458e-85F8-5B0CE6DF2BBE} (Trojan.Agent)

However, when I click to delete it, the log says it has been quarantined and deleted, but when I reboot and run a scan, I get the exact same results again. I have even gone into the registry and deleted it, and when I reboot, it's back. I have also run CCleaner to scan for any registry issues and it finds none (before I delete it manually). And, I have even completely uninstalled Internet Explorer and MBAM was still finding it after reboot.

What else can I do?

Thanks!
