Error code: 722 (1816, 7)

my computer seems clearly infected - unable to get internet, unable to start windows task manager, etc.

i get a message saying to report Error code: 722 (1816, 7) to the Malwarebyte team...

what is this? what can i do?

This seems to be XP or Win 2000- error(1816) - Not enough quota is available to process this command -

It appears that your main disc is either full, needs maintaining, or is infected -

PS. First, can you please run Defrag and Disk Cleanup, CCleaner (if installed), and delete browsing history - Then Un/reinstall Malwarebytes by following the instructions at item #7 from the shortcut listed below - This will ensure a fresh new copy - If you still have the problem then post as above -
