Can't Install MBAM.

I am currently running Windows Vista Ultimate. It seems like I picked up a nasty virus. I cannot start Windows in Normal mode. After starting in Safe Mode, I am not able to start Spybot. I have tried to install MBAM, but the it seems like the virus is not letting mbam.exe copy correctly during the install. I tried to download MBAM.exe through the site with a different name, but when I try to start it, I get a message saying ERROR 704(0,0). Please report the code to Malewarebytes Anti-Malware support team. Thanks in Advance for any support.

Can you please run the following scan. Make sure to right click and Run As Admin.

Download

DDS

and save it to your desktop

Disable any script blocker if your Anti-Virus/Anti-Malware has it.

Once downloaded you can disconnect from the Internet and disable your Ant-Virus temporarily if needed.

Then double click

dds.scr

to run the tool.

When done, the

DDS.txt

will open.

Click Yes at the next prompt for Optional Scan.

When done, DDS will open two (2) logs:

1. DDS.txt
   
   
2. Attach.txt
   
   

• Save both reports to your desktop
  
  
• Please include the following logs in your next reply:
  DDS.txt
  and
  Attach.txt
