My Paid version won't auto-update or auto-scan on schedule

Have been using MBAM for years and download the latest (paid) version 1.42 a few days ago. Set up the scheduled update and scan as before but it failed to execute the scheduled events. Runs all right manually. Only other difference is I am now on Wind 7 (Home Premium 64 bit) while previously it was on XP Pro SP3. Error message was "Failed to perform desired action. Error code 02."

Please help.
