I have an interesting problem

I recently had a Trojan on my computer that I removed with MBAM, now, when I go to update MBAM, i get error code 732 0,0. I've read the different ways suggested to fix it tried them and it still hasn't updated. I rebooted in safe mode with networking and tried to update, and it worked, and i am confused, can anyone help me?

Hi,

This must be the one you were dealing with that has changed your proxysettings.

To fix this, open Internet Explorer > In IE: Tools Menu -> Internet Options -> Connections Tab ->Lan Settings > uncheck "use a proxy server" and check to "Automatically detect settings".

In Firefox in Tools Menu -> Options... -> Advanced Tab -> Network Tab -> "Settings" under Connection.

Let me know in your next reply if that fixed it.

  • Do not assume you're clean because you don't see something in the logs. Please wait until the person assisting you provides feedback.
  • There are often many others that require asistance as well, so please be patient. If no one has responded within 48 hours then please go ahead and post a request for review

  • NOTE: If for some reason you're unable to run some or any of the tools in the first link, then skip that step and move on to the next one. If you can't even run HijackThis, then just proceed and post a NEW topic as shown in the second link describing your issues and someone will assist you as soon as they can.

Once the log is posted in the right part of this forum, then me or someone else will take a look at it asap :)
