GT500 Posted January 4, 2008 ID:11490 Share Posted January 4, 2008 Is there any plan to add support for scanning from a BartPE disk like Spybot Search & Destroy does? The ability to run anti-malware scans from a bootable disk makes cleanup of an infected PC so much easier.
Root Admin RubbeR DuckY Posted January 4, 2008 Root Admin ID:11504 Share Posted January 4, 2008 I don't believe BartPE supports Visual Basic programs. The fact that the user interface is in Visual Basic will cause a problem. When the whole program is ported over to C++, we will probably consider it. While .NET is great for quickly throwing together a GUI, I hate it when applications use it, as it tends to be inefficient (especially when Windows is running in Safe Mode).
