Auto scan at start up runs indefinitely without actually scanning anything

Hi, 
I'm hoping someone can help with this problem:

Auto scan at start up runs indefinitely without actually scanning anything. Once I notice that it is running I stop the scan, then when I start a new scan it works very quickly showing that it is indeed scanning items on my computer. What can I do to fix Malwarebytes so the initial auto scan, that starts when I turn my computer on, works properly?

Please download the latest version (4.12.9), released yesterday. It includes a fix for this bug.

You can download it by opening the app and choosing Check for Updates from the Malwarebytes menu.
