false positive malware.generic in gfix.exe from Firebird SQL

Recommended Posts

Users of our software, which installs the file gfix.exe in the attached zip file, have started reporting an error report from Malwarebytes for Windows on this file. This file is unchanged for a long time, and no other anti-virus is complaining about it, so I'm quite sure this is a false positive that should be whitelisted. The file is part of the Firebird SQL database software, version 2.5.

Please let us know. Thank you.

Thanks for reporting, you'll see the fix in about 10 minutes.
