Reporting Error code: 703 (0, 13)

Hello,

I'm new here and I don't know if I post this in the right area.

This is to inform the support team for the Error code: 703 (0, 13) after doing Disk Defragmenter.

OS : Windows XP Pro

Anti-virus: AVG v.8 free

Spyware: Spybot Search & Destroy

Built-in XP Fire wall.

Recently I'm using CCleaner.

Welcome to Malwarebytes! Make sure your AVG is trusting these malwarebytes files in bold letters

Go to AVG, then add our files to the exclusion list:

Right-click the AVG icon in the system tray.

On the shortcut menu select Launch Control Center.

Click the 'Tools' tab, select Advanced settings...'

Scroll down or select 'Exceptions'

Click 'Add List' and copy and paste the following list of files:

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\rules.ref

C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\mbam.sys

C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\mbamswissarmy.sys

C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbam.exe

C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbamgui.exe

C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbamservice.exe

Click OK 3 times.

Reboot your PC.

Post back and let us know if you still have any issues or errors please....regards

After posting my message here last night, I rebooted and tried again to open Malwarebytes and I got through.

I've had both (Malwarebytes and AVG) for a long time and this was the first time that this message appeared.

We would be interested on your reply, when & if you configure your AVG, to trust the Malwarebytes files in bold letters above. It has solved the problem for appx: several users I've seen. As viruses get worse for the user. The AV programs have to add to there program to stop them. Malwarebytes has to make its program more powerful. So all I'm trying to say is we may have to make some changes in AV programs so they trust Malwarebytes files. Post back if theres anything we can do for you. regards..
