Update macOS with Malwarebytes Installed

Recommended Posts

First time running Malwarebytes (real time) on a Mac and Apple released updates today for macOS Mojave and Safari. Before updating the OS do I need to turn off the real time protection or keep it on? I'll be doing a clone / backup before updating. If I update now will I lose my Trial Malwarebytes? I still have 11 days on it and I have a paid version coming in the mail next week.

No need to disable anything as Apple updates take place after your Mac reboots and before any other software loads and RTProtection doesn’t interfere with any downloads (but will, of course, disable any malware downloads before they can cause any problems).

The macOS update won't result in any changes to your trial period.
