exile360 Posted August 28, 2018 ID:1266103 Share Posted August 28, 2018 Greetings, I am sorry that your topic got overlooked. If you are still in need of assistance then I will gladly do my best to help. To begin, please do the following: Download and run the Malwarebytes Support Tool Accept the EULA and click Advanced Options on the main page (not Get Started) Click the Clean button, and allow it to restart your system and then reinstall Malwarebytes, either by allowing the tool to do so when it offers to on restart, or by downloading and installing the latest version from here Once that is done, open Malwarebytes and navigate to Settings>About and verify that the two version numbers circled in the image below match those displayed in your own copy of Malwarebytes: If either of the numbers does not match, then go to Settings>Application and click on the Install Application Updates button and allow it to download and install any available program updates and then verify that the version info now matches once complete. After Malwarebytes is reinstalled and fully up to date go ahead and try performing another Threat scan via the Scan Now button found on the Dashboard to see if it is now able to complete. If it is not and the problem still persists then please do the following: Download and run the Malwarebytes Support Tool Accept the EULA and click Advanced Options on the main page (not Get Started) Click the Gather Logs button, and once it completes, attach the zip file it creates on your desktop to your next reply Thanks
