AdwCleaner crashes every time I attempt to clean

I run Windows 10, and when AdwCleaner finds a threat and I select Clean, the computer crashes, and the adware element still shows on the scans.

How can I solve this?

It might be worth adding that the program has been doing that in my PC in all the latest versions. Whenever I tried cleaning it and Windows crashed, I'd scan the computer again, and then try to locate and delete the adware files manually. Sometimes, they'd no longer show up on the scans. But this one file, "PUP.Optional.SlimCleanerPlus", I'm not being able to remove.

What should I do to make AdwCleaner work properly again? What sort of information do you need?
