3.0.5.1299 Tray icon disappears

Downloaded & installed over 3.0.4.  (Set to start at login, not Windows startup)

I get the UI with "Awesome your protected.  As soon as I close the UI the tray icon disappears.  Have uninstalled until this is fixed.

After uninstall/reinstall of 3.0.5.1299, this issue has resolved. Any idea what caused it?

Hi John,

No concrete evidence, but it sounds as though mbamtray,exe did not get replaced during the upgrade and was missing. Was self protection enabled by any chance?  I'm just trying to come up with any reasons it may have run into an 'access denied' type instance during the install.
