Activation Failed

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I've been running MBARW  without issue for some time now - this morning I note it is saying "Activation Failed".

I've been through the forum and ensured my FW is open and there are no issues.

I've been through the Admin Guide.

data.service.malwarebytes.com’s server DNS address could not be found.

data-cdn.mbamupdates.com gives a permission denied message
keystone.mwbsys.com gives OK

sirius.mwbsys.com gives OK

meps.mwbsys.com gives No webpage was found for the web address
blitz.mb-cosmos.com gives
"message":"Missing Authentication Token"

I've removed it and reinstalled the most recent .EXE - still getting the same thing.

I've RARd and attached my MBAMService folder.

Regards

Markie

Hello MarkieMark and :welcome:

You have done excellent self help work, and you have eliminated about 50% of the usual suspects.  Any communications failure with data.service.malwarebytes.com will be ignored herein.

After opening the attached archive container, at least one of the log files, needed for analysis, is inexplicably absent.  As an acceptable alternative data gathering tool, please perform the following procedure:

How do I report issues with Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware?

However, instead of emailing the .zip produced, please attach the .zip file to your next reply here.  Thank you for helping beta test the MBARW project.
