Hello LamoidFLlurbybabbin and :welcome:

MBARW Beta developers are aware of the issue and closely monitor this sub-forum and may weigh-in.

Available data strongly suggests a false positive and, since the following pathname has been entered in MBARW GUI -> Exclusions, and the binary has been uploaded to the developers, please allow the entry to remain until you are requested to remove it:

                              C:\Program Files (x86)\DAZ 3D\DAZ3DIM1\DAZ3DIM.exe

At any time, a MBARW development team member, QA team member or Staffer may request the above temporary exclusion be altered/removed.

Thank you for beta testing MBARW and your valuable feedback.

Received the same error today; I attempted to restore the file from the quarantine list and received the error "Can't restore an item marked for deletion on reboot".  And since it waited until I was in the middle of actually downloading content from DAZ before marking it as ransomware, I expect it has probably also hosed my install and I'll have to download it all again.

Hello @trdsf and :welcome:

It is disappointing to read your Consumer Beta testing system is having MBARW Beta issues but each computer is unique.  Problems that seem "the same" frequently are not.  The same is true for solutions.  Solutions may often need to be individualized for your unique testing system.

It is less confusing for everyone if a "One Member Per Topic" policy is adhered to instead of posting to the topic of another member.  Development Team Members, Staffers, and Helpers will be able to more easily provide both you and the OP/Topic Starter, with individualized assistance.

Please start a NEW, and SEPARATE topic by left-clicking this >>Start New Topic<< link now.

Thank you always for your patience and understanding.
