Trying to reactivate license on crashed, then repaired PC

I had purchased a license for Malwarebytes, it was for 3 PCs. I put it on both of my PCs, and then one of mine crashed - quit working altogether. I took it to my local computer repair place, but while it was being fixed I applied my 3rd license to a third PC that my son has. Then, I got my PC back from the repair place and tried to activate the license again, just like it was before. But it won't work - it says "please use a valid key" or something like that.

Do I have to buy another license even though I'm putting it on the same computer that I had it on to begin with?

OK, I opened a repair ticket with the help desk. Hopefully they will respond before my 14-day free premium trial expires.
