MALWAREBYTES APPCRASH

HI,

 

I am using lenovo thinkpad with win 7 pro x 64 bit. Malwarebytes v 2.1.8.1057 is been installed on my system.

 

Besides, using Mbam , i have Avast free antivirus also installed on my system.( the exclusion list had been populated in both the programs , as per the suggestion of the support staff ).

 

Now,  a couple of days back, when i tried to update mbam, by accessing it through the system tray- right clicking the blue mbam icon , subsequently an error was registered in the windows reliability monitor, the snap shot is as under :

there is another instance of an error , concerned with mbam, which is as under :

I have scaned the system with windows defender , microsoft malacious removal tool , avast and mbam - the system is clean as per the scan results and as such i am not facing any problem, it's just that the crashing of mbam.
 
further, as a workaround , i had uninstalled mbam- using mbam clean tool and thereafter installed it fresh.
 
the checkresults.txt is also attached, in case if that hepls in resolving the issue.

Hello atulrsuri:

  • Please try the following and let us know if this corrects your issue: MBAM Clean Removal Process 2.x.
  • If that does not correct the issue, then please read the following and individually attach the new 3 requested logs in a reply to this thread: Diagnostic Logs.
  • The 3 new files, from Step 2, to be individually attached from your desktop are: CheckResults.txt, FRST.txt and Addition.txt. Please do not Copy and Paste them into a reply.
  • NOTE: There is an FAQ section with valuable information located in Common Questions, Issues, and their Solutions.

Please let us know the status of your issue in a reply to this thread.

thanks for your reply.

 

as i had mentioned earlier in my thread, that i had uninstalled mbam , and it was excatly as per the link provided in your point no.1 ( are you suggesting , to uninstall and then reinstall mbam again?)

 

further, i have already attached the files requested by you. ( or do you want me to reinstall mbam, and then provide you with the 3 files?)

 

furthermore, did to analyze the files already provided , and if yes, can you please share your findings with me ?
