The Malwarebytes Product Management team wants to hear from you!

In efforts to continually deliver great products, and provide IT and security professionals with the absolute best user experience, we're very interested in learning about your software deployment experience with Malwarebytes Management Console.

Please share with us what has worked well for you, and areas where we can improve.  Specifically, we'd like to know more about the following:

  1. Approximately how many endpoints do you support?
  2. Are your endpoints managed, unmanaged or a mix of both?
  3. How did you deploy? (e.g.: remote push, MSI, EXE, Group Policy, third-party deployment tools, etc.)
  4. What problems, if any, did you encounter?  How did you solve them?
  5. What's your ideal deployment scenario?
  6. What's your role within your organization?
Your experience, use cases and insight are extremely valuable to us.  Feel free to post your replies here; if preferred, you may send me a private message instead.

Thanks!

Am in the process of deploying thu a new company I am working with. Deployment is fair but the management console is a mess. Restricted to AD, with ghost computers that have been removed from AD days ago. Computers that are listed in the Client tab that you can do nothing with.

I used Avast in my previous job. That deployment was much smoother and I didn't have all these issues.

I surely would not recommend to anyone else at this point.

  1. Approximately how many endpoints do you support? 5000
  2. Are your endpoints managed, unmanaged or a mix of both? Managed
  3. How did you deploy? Remote Push and 3rd Party Deployment tools using the MSI packages.
  4. What problems, if any, did you encounter?  How did you solve them? Console reporting that endpoints didn't have their DBs updated.  We pushed the database downloads out to every 2 hours from the console and every 4 hours from the MWB website.
  5. What's your ideal deployment scenario? Centrally controlled and managed.  MWB does a good job.  In the future we'd like to see the option for adding remote repositories on our distribution servers.
  6. What's your role within your organization? Sr. Systems Administrator
