Your system is not fully protected

Recommended Posts

I am running MBAM Premium Version 2.0.2.1012 (paid version) and I am experiencing the same problem as that posted in "https://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?/topic/159106-your-system-is-not-fully-protected-real-time-protection-no-protection/".  Before I apply the same fix as detailed in that thread I want to post this topic and get concurrence from Malwarebytes staff that this is the correct thing to do.  I have a laptop running Windows 7 Service Pack 1.

Thanks

Hello and :welcome: :

Yes, if you are having a problem with Malicious Website Protection, it's fine to please try the steps here first (rather than the steps suggested to a different user with what sounds like a similar problem): Malicious Website Protection disabled

The problem for which that pinned topic was posted was actually fixed over a week ago.
So, if the steps in that sticky topic don't resolve your issues, please do the following:

  • Please follow the steps in this pinned topic to uninstall your current version of MBAM and reinstall the latest build - MBAM Clean Removal Process 2x
  • If that does not correct the issue, then please read the following and post back attached to your next reply the 3 requested logs - Diagnostic Logs (the 3 logs are: FRST.txt, Addition.txt and CheckResults.txt)
  • NOTE: There is an FAQ section with valuable information located here - Common Questions, Issues, and their Solutions

Please let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Hi,

I tried the solution at https://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?/topic/158722-malicious-website-protection-disabled/ and it solved the problem.  I had not looked at MBAM for quite some time so there is no way for me to know how long my installation was like this.  I shall keep an eye on it freqently for a while to see if anything changes.

Thanks for your help.  Malwarebytes staff does not disappoint again!!  You people rock!
