Hello,

They call me TwinHeadedEagle around here, and I'll be working with you.

Before we start please read and note the following:

icon_arrow.gif Limit your internet access to posting here, some infections just wait to steal typed-in passwords.
icon_arrow.gif Please be patient. I know it is frustrating when your PC isn't working properly, but malware removal takes time.
icon_arrow.gif Don't run any scripts or tools on your own, unsupervised usage may cause more harm than good.
icon_arrow.gif Do not paste the logs in your posts, attachments make my work easier. There is a Attach Files option below which you can use to attach your reports. Always attach reports from all tools.
icon_arrow.gif Stay with me to the end, the absence of symptoms doesn't mean that your machine is fully operational.
icon_arrow.gif Note that we may live in totally different time zones, what may cause some delays between answers.
icon_arrow.gif Do not ask for help for your business PC. Companies are making revenue via computers, so it is good thing to pay someone to repair it.
icon_arrow.gif If I don't hear from you within 3 days from this initial or any subsequent post, then this thread will be closed.

icon_idea.gif I can't foresee everything, so if anything unexpected happens, please stop and inform me!
icon_idea.gif There are no silly questions. Never be afraid to ask if in doubt!

Please download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to your desktop.

Only one of them will run on your system, that will be the right version.

  • Double-click to run it. When the tool opens click Yes to disclaimer.
  • Press Scan button.
  • It will make a log (FRST.txt) in the same directory the tool is run. Please attach it to your reply.

Ok, now I'm really getting worried. I found that none of my standard windows programs for defence are working. This includes, but is not limited to windows defender, windows firewall, microsoft security essentials. About 80% of the time I couldn't get malwarebytes to open. In addition Windows Internet Explorer 8 doesn't work at all. I had Windows explorer 11 on there but It got removed for some reason.

Also I have found numerous files leading to removable hard drives that I wish to delete but it says I cannot as it doesn't have the file where it needs.

I have installed mozilla Fire Fox. That is what I'm useing as a web browser untill I can get my Internet Explorer back on its feet and no longer compormized. I have reinstalled Malwarwbytes and it seems to be able to open now, although occasionally it does not.

Well, I'm glad you here. I'm in America but I'm jacked up. :) as far as I know I don't have any programs like that most of my programs are personal entertainment some gaming a few hobbies. A few files but nothing extreamly important. If we have to I can wipe the whole hard drive and not mind. This is my gaming and personal computer.

Does BitCoin count as peer to peer?

IF so I'll will with out question and imidiately erase the program.

WARNING: I noticed you have more than one antivirus installed.

Never install more than one Antivirus! Rather than giving you extra protection, it will decrease the reliability of it seriously! The reason for this is that if both products have their automatic (Real-Time) protection switched on, your system may lock up due to both software products attempting to access the same file at the same time. Also because more than one Antivirus installed are not compatible with each other, it can cause system performance problems and a serious system slowdown.

Please uninstall either Avast or Trend Micro.

First, go to Control Panel and uninstall following (skip lines that cannot be uninstalled):
- Adobe Reader X MUI
- BrowserSafeguard
- Java 7 Update 60
- ScorpionSaver

Latest versions of Java and Adobe Reader available here --> http://www.java.com/en/ and here http://get.adobe.com/uk/reader/
Make sure to uncheck optional offers.
