mash609 Posted May 25, 2014 ID:834114 Share Posted May 25, 2014 malwarebytes log.zip Preferences.zip I am having problems with this file. Trovi.a. Malwarebytes finds this as a Pup but cannot remove and/or keeps coming back.I have seen some suspicious activity, like a google chrome extension installing itself. I understand this may be nothing and that thisis only a Pup but that it could be a sign of something worse. Malwarebytes finds this 2 computers. I have tried many ways to removethis but nothing works. Is this a false positive? How can I remove or fix this?Thank you for your help.
daledoc1 Posted May 25, 2014 ID:834116 Share Posted May 25, 2014 Hello and , mash609: OOPS!We can't work on malware diagnostics and removal in this sub-section of the forum. This is actually the False Positives section -- where detections that may not be malware are reported for review. So, for expert assistance, I suggest that you please follow the advice in this pinned topic: Available Assistance For Possibly Infected Computers.A malware analyst will assist you with looking into your issue. Thanks,
