Another 'advertisement coming from svchost' thread

I noticed that in this board there are quite a bit with the same problems, and I've been trying to figure this out myself, but in no way am I qualified to mess with any of these settings/configurations on my own. I've had this problem all day, and I just cannot seem to get rid of it.

Please, if you have the time, assist me with this annoying problem!

I don't see an edit button but I would like to add that this http://puu.sh/68Wnc.png is what the ads play from and it raises the memory usage of svchost.exe greatly over time. Sometimes my computer even spits up a popup that says it will shut down after a minute because something ended unexpectedly, without me closing anything. It's extremely frustrating, but I give up trying to fix it myself, and I hope to get this resolved ASAP, please.
