Effectivness of Malwarebytes Programs

Recommended Posts

I have been getting attacks from malware viruses http://jsf.jsticket.net/amz/aeyJ... and http://interyield.jmp9...

I tried manualy, based on experts recommendations, to find corrupted registry files as well as reset

the settings to default in my MS IE 8 browser. No success results. Later I tried to automate my

search, scanning hard disk drive with Malwarebyte Anti-Malware free  and PRO versions.

There was no success either. However, the PRO version blocked successfully malicious web site

8.26.70.22. I am experiencing the attacks whenever I try to logon to my email box. Also I noticed

a slow browsing internet speed.

I am including for Malwarebytes expert the requested files DDS.txt and Attach.txt to analyze them further.attach.txtdds.txt

Borislav,

Thanks for your prompt reply to my mishaps with Malwarebytes's programs.

Fortunately, I yesterday on my own found the programs/files that caused the pop-up problem to my browser.

I decided manually to delete those programs from my HDD which I do not use. Bingo!  uTorrent Control_V6 Toolbar and ViewPassword caused this problem.

What puzzles me in your reply you did not recommend to use among the removal tools Malwarebyte's programs but other

tools.

It seems, I was right about non-effectivness of Malwarebytes' Anti-Spyware programs.

Also, I observed SpyHunter anti-spyware program found 268 threats on my HDD. Is it a better anti-spyware program?

Regards

It is effective, but these toolbars are not harmful for your system, so Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware doesn't detect them.

SpyHunter is not recommended at all. More details you could find here:

And I wouldn't trust it and suggest you to look at my steps and see if everything is completely cleared.
