Trouble with LAN and Proxy settings

Recommended Posts

Novice user running IE. Recently having trouble opening my reg sites,im getting "this page cant be displayed" or "the proxy server isn't responding" On opening I Options I found the proxy server box ticked so I unticked it and thing worked great for a short time now its reticked itself and im back to the same problem. Ive found that when its unticked the http address highlights itself in green on my usual sites. I am fed up going back and forward to untick it just to get my sites to open. I ran StopZilla and it found Trojan.Win32.Mal.gen b58 which it purged on request, it also showed 3 other items E2Give > VR32  /  pup Optional.Iminent.Toolbar  and pup Optional.Conduit VR32 which it wont remove on free version. I then ran your program which removed 300 items associated with Iminent, further scans by your program are showing clean. On advice I also ran Kasperskys TDSS which showed clean.Any help would be greatly appreciated
