That update included the following fixes:This article describes a platform update for Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1) and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1. This update improves the features and performance of the following components:Direct2DDirectWriteDirect3DWindows Imaging Component (WIC)Windows Advanced Rasterization Platform (WARP)Windows Animation Manager (WAM)XPS Document APIH.264 Video DecoderJPEG XR codecWhat ever that had to do with anything does not matter, but the only other issue I had on this computer was that my "services" windows would not scroll and always had my windows desktop image bleed though on the left side of that window.
