Security.Hijack infection: pls help ! :)

This evening I'm going to finish the work following your final procedures and I'll let you know about results. I've one questiona about deleting files with bat file: Win8 bat procedure is the same of Vista one ?. - as far as I know it is - I am not completely up to date on win 8 but have not heard anything about it being different yet

The PC seems to run ok. Only odd thing I've noted is my I:\ disk (not the system one C:\ howewer) was extremely fragmented and I had to run defraggler. The strange fact is that disk is a backup disk and one week ago was not fragmented at all. Could it be of any importance? I do not think is a problem

BTW I have GData total assistance for security purposes. What do you think about it ? - I have not used it so I cannot comment on it - but I have not heard anything bad yet - now that being said I feel suites are not a good way to go - they have a Tendency do do things OK but not anything great as they are spead out
