Possible Malware Infection

As of now, it seems to be working. I did what I did before that lead to my Firefox and Chrome crashing, and neither of them have for the past day. So I would assume it has been fixed :)

Thank you again for your help, you're the best!

Now, how do I get rid of all these desktop.ini's that are scattered around my computer, as well as the kaspersky virus scanner?

Glad I could help! :)

Please run OTL and then click on CleanUp button. Next, manually delete Kaspersky AVP and aswMBR. Uninstall ESET Online Scanner.

About desktop.ini , follow the instructions here to hide them:

http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-vista/Show-hidden-files

This should be worked.
