Oh. please let us have some fixes.
-
Guys and gals, what is happening to help fix this program?
Need to get with it.
-
Yes, but the end of V2 has been forecast and I have 6 lifetime licenses.
Doesn't look very promising at this point.
-
I don't know but I am waiting for an update that will enable me to install it on my other 3 computers that I cannot install it on now.

Particularly if you opt for the free version (it's quite good).
Yep, I've been using the FREE version for years. Never cost me a penny.

Hello @jadinolf
1.) Please help your system, and the Malwarebytes' developers/staffers, by supplying any of the missing information requested in the How to Report a New Issue topic and most importantly making sure to include the much-needed MBAMSERVICE.LOG.
2.) Additionally, attach (do not compress/copy/paste) the separate FRST.txt and the Addition.txt output diagnostic reports from only Log Set 1. The appropriate Farbar Recovery Scan Tool utility must be executed with "Run as administrator" privileges.
Soon after all the requested data is posted, the Malwarebytes' QA & Developer Teams, and staffers can commence their analysis. Thank you always for your assistance.
I will next time. Version 3 is gone from this computer and I am back to version 2.
Sorry

I decided to try another install of 3 on a new computer.
By NEW I mean it has never had 3 on it before.dA
Uninstalled 2 and then cleaned the registry.
Installed 3 and the computer immediately locked up with the mouse pointer stuck in the taskbar.
This has happened on my hast 3 attempts to install Version 3.
I DO have 2 successful installs but don't really see a difference between my failures and my successes.
Just thought I would pass this on.

Gotcha
Next step is to contact support. Someone will give you a link.
You will get it ironed out.
-
Just a fast question- do you have your license information printed out somewhere?
I don't have the latest version on this computer but you should have been able to deactivate your license.
If not contact tech report.
-
Thanks for the information.
I am back to version 2 on that computer BUT when I go back to 3 I will try that.
It seems to work fine on my first two computers.
-
OK.
Thanks Aura.
I'm afraid that a month will go by before anyone comments on it.

I'm sorry but the computer is really messed up thanks to installing Malwarebytes.
My mouse stoipped working too.
SO- I tried to zip the file and just get an error message so I will give it unzipped.
You have seen the screen shot.
This computers is Windows 7 Pro 64bit as are the other two computers in which Malwarebytes works fine.
Sorry but my i5 is now crippled and it is hard doing much with it.
Antivirus is the same on all of my computers--ESET NOD32 Version 10.
Hope someone from Malwarebytes can help.

My other two computers with 3.0.5.1299 were behaving so well that I decided to install it on my main computer an i5.
Turns out it was not a smart move.
Is a fix available? I may have missed it.
-
If you are not running 3.0.5.1299, you should install it and THEN post your comments about it.
Then, we will settle down and the folks from Malwarebytes can help you.
If I am out of place, let me know. Thanks
-
I think we will all be better off when the folks here do some updates to the program.
They are very capable.
Just wait and all will be well.

Interesting. I have Outpost installed on the only two computers which have given me a good install of MBAM3.

A new problem has cropped up. Scan keeps reporting Trojans found.
I wonder if others see it. Report shows every time a scan is run.
I quarantine it every time and it shows up on the next scan.
I have run every malware/ antivirus scanner I can find and they show nothing.
