  1. Hello See-kit,

I don't know whether there's something missed (or a proper way to translate) for string # 261 -

    Original English:

We have introduced a trial of the full version of the product. Would you like to start the trial?

    ChineseSI:

    ????? Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware PRO ????
  2. BlueBox, please get your point elaborated by answering the questions exile360 asked above -

What do you mean by that? Are you clicking on the GUI while scanning, clicking on the tray icon? What happens when you do?

What issues are you having with connections? Slow downloads? Corrupt database? Issues with a software firewall preventing updating?

FWIW, I just tried to duplicate this problem, and I could not. While MBAM (using database version 5111) was doing a Quick Scan of my desktop computer, I tried clicking on the GUI, and on the MBAM icon in my system tray. I also clicked on the Firefox icon to bring up this discussion to see whether I'd missed any of the things you did. At no time did MBAM 1.50 pause or stop or freeze.

I can't duplicate that too on my Vista system with DB 5112 :)

  3. Hello pj, ;)

The following quotes comes from the Quality Assurance of Malwarebytes, which may address your issue-

The -log entry is supposed to make sure that the scan creates a log regardless of other settings, however there is currently a known issue with silents scans where no log is created. This will be fixed in the next version, 1.47, of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware but the release date of the next version is yet to be determined.
This is a known issue with the -terminate command. It is being addressed by the developers and should be fixed once version 1.47 is released, however I currently have no projected release date for the new version.

Please feel free to post back if you have further questions.

    Thank You :)

  4. Hello Juliette, ;)

Nasty Trojan- Can't Run Any .exe Files

    Thanks :)

  5. Hello Snowleopard, :)

You may first read this post to see if you can run MBAM on the infected computer.

If you cannot update the database, you may follow the instructions below to grab a (near) current database -

ISSUE: I need to get the latest database onto a computer that cannot access the Internet.

SOLUTION: NOTE: Please note though that this should be a last resort and if at all possible you should attempt to download updates from within the program.

You can manually copy the database from a working computer using a flash drive or CD onto the infected PC. Our database file is stored in the following locations.

    • Windows XP and 2000
    • C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\rules.ref
    • Windows Vista and Windows 7:
    • C:\ProgramData\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\rules.ref

You can also download a manual update from here - NOTE: This manual update will always be way behind in version level compared to updates from within the program

If, unfortunately, MBAM and your antivirus cannot clean the nasty stuff, please read the following instructions noknojon given above (you may need to get the tools download from another computer, and transfer to the infected one).

Please post back if you have further questions.

    Thank You :)

PS For other members who have similar issue and need someone to assist you, please click the button t_new.gif below and post your problem as a new topic. Thanks :)

    Edit - delete duplicate instructions.

  6. Hello blackdiesel, :P

First, please do not use ComboFix on your own without the direct guidence of malware fighters/experts. The tool is so powerful that it may cause system failure if use improperly. (You can get a better understanding why I said so in this post at bleeping computer:

    http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic273628.html).

Then, as we don't work on Malware removal or diagnostics in this forum, please read carefully and follow the directions below so that a qualified expert helper will help you to clean those nasty malware for free at the malware removal forum -

    • If you have already submitted for assistance at one of the other support sites on the Internet, then you should not post a new topic here and stay working with the helper from that site until the issue is resolved.
    • Please print out, read, and follow the directions here, skipping any steps you are unable to complete.
    • Then post a NEW topic here, remember to describe your problem along with the necessary logs (MBAM ,DDS, GMER) in that topic. When posting logs please do not use any Quote, Code, or other tags. Please copy/paste directly into your post and do not attach files unless requested.
    • One of the expert helpers there will give you one-on-one assistance when one becomes available.
    • After posting your new topic, make sure under options (top right of your topic screen), you select Track this topic and choose one of the Email options (prefer Immediate Email Notification) so that you're alerted when someone has replied to your post.
    • Please be patient when waiting for an expert help as the expert helpers can get a bit busy.
    • Please try not to post back (bump) your topic within the first 48 hours. Expert helpers will find the topics which has a zero post count first. If you bump your topic, expert helpers may think the topic is replied and jump to other posts.
If there is no reply from any experts after 48 hours, you can reply the topic for asking help again or send a Private Message to a Moderator asking for assistance.
    • Please do not alter the system (eg install or uninstall any software, conduct some fixes, use any removal/scanning tool) after posting unless it is told by the expert helper. Using these other tools often makes the cleanup task more difficult and time consuming.

Alternatively, as a paying customer, you can contact the help desk at support@malwarebytes.org or via here for a prioritized support. Please remember to quote your cleverbridge Reference Number from the confirmation e-mail when requesting assistance.

If you're a Corporate or Technician Licensed customer seeking assistance please send an email to corporate-support@malwarebytes.org. Please quote your order reference number when you send the request.

NOTE: If for some reason you're unable to run some of the tools in the first link, then skip that step and move on to the next one. If you can't even run any tools in safe mode, then just proceed and post a NEW topic as shown in the second link describing your issues and someone will assist you as soon as they can.

    Thank You :P

  14. Hello Pete, :)

You may need to change the name of the setup file (or maybe afterwards the mbam program) to something like "firefox.exe" or "explorer.exe" that may possible to install in the infected system. Here is the guide about the things I said above. And here is a guide of cleaning Antimalware Doctor that you may follow.

Moreover, it is not recommend to use registry cleaners unless you know really what you are going to perform. The quote below comes from elise025, one of the malware removal experts -

I don't personally recommend the use of ANY registry cleaners for several reasons.
  16. Hello again,

No, you will contact the technical support through e-mail if you choose the way I posted above. They may ask you to generate some logs before the cleaning process.

Or if you would like to stick with this forum, you may follow the directions below and an expert helper will help you the cleaning process, though the reply time of your post may vary -

As we don't work on Malware removal or diagnostics in this forum, please read carefully and follow the directions below so that a qualified expert helper will help you to clean those nasty malware for free at the malware removal forum -

NOTE: If for some reason you're unable to run some of the tools in the first link, then skip that step and move on to the next one. If you can't even run any tools in safe mode, then just proceed and post a NEW topic as shown in the second link describing your issues and someone will assist you as soon as they can.

Please post back if you have further questions.

    Thank You ;)

PS Please use the "ADDREPLY" t_reply.gif button at bottom of forum window instead of other ones when you start replying. It makes the whole topic easier to read. :)
