  1. It was the database update that helped, to be precise. I did not have to do a factory reset.

  3. I'm working on a web development project that uses React for frontend. After adding an emoji picker component https://www.npmjs.com/package/emoji-picker-react I experience almost complete freeze of the machine for a couple of minutes with extreme CPU & Memory load by Firefox when the emoji picker is opened in the browser. Turning off Malwarebytes Browser Guard resolves the issue. Other emoji pickers on other sites have not showed similar behaviour. In Chrome this does not happen, the emoji picker opens normally also with Browser Guard on.
  4. Yep, I'm running 4.5.7.186 now. Thanks! The Windows startup option kept "on", too.

  6. Noticed the same thing - Malwarebytes was not starting with Windows any longer. Certainly did not turn that off myself.
