Yep, MS Edge still brings up the warnings, even if Chrome is not running.

Same here too, though I haven't knowingly accepted an update yet - it's normally manual.

My annual Adobe subscription is about to renew - I wonder if it's an issue with Creative Cloud, as I've been getting this warnings too for the last few hours - never had it before today. -
Wow - I've also been having this problem recently and was clueless as to what was going on. Thankfully I found this thread and it has fixed the issue for me too. Many thanks for reporting it!
