  1. I manage multiple personal licenses for my customers from yearly subscriptions to many individual lifetime licenses.  This was the only way to get the product in the beginning if you recall and many of us helped to build this product and company into what it has become.  I need to be able to turn the Other Devices screen OFF.  There is no good reason for this when you can get it on the backend when logging into the account.  Want nothing to do with this nor do my customers as it is a security issue for the small businesses that I support and have been for all these years.

Please change this ASAP before rolling out to everyone.

  2. Thanks for that. And do not take this the wrong way it is from 2002 and I agree turn ALL SNMP OFF if not needed.

    However in Todays world:

Don't we lose functionality of knowing if the printer is out of paper, toner, drum issues, etc... and does it affect scanning at all with brother printers and the control center software that helps manage the printer and keep it up to date etc ... ??

  3. This is not practical with so many different users affected by this. I just reboot the PC and it goes away for a bit.

The  problem is things will work for a short while then the printers go OFFLINE again. There is no consistency to the failure. Clearly MBAM is doing something that needs to be fixed.

What is the down side of having SNMP turned off all the time ??

Not sure why the dev team cannot fix this once and for all with an update. We have been chasing this issue for a month now.

The quality control on updates needs to be better then this.

  4. I have Stand Alone Servers at different customers that I run Malwarebytes Premium (and Free) on their machines and Servers.

I have had no problems for years now running the product on many different Server versions but all of the sudden most of the Windows Server 2019 machines will not open the program any longer so I can run a quick scan.

I have tried uninstalling and re-installing with no luck. I have tried running as and Administrator with no luck as well.

If I try to End Task on the Malwarebytes Service I get an Access is denied error or I get an Error 5: Access is denied if I try to restart the Service.

Looks like something is simply stopping it from running ??

Anyone else seeing this and have any ideas.

    Thanks.

  5. It was both Windows 7 and Windows 10 machines.

I do not have anytime access to the machines as they are in production. If I can reproduce the problem when doing maint I will run the tool and send to you.

Like I said above after a restart things seemed to go back to normal - I think it may be something to do with malwarebytes updating it self (" Install Application updates") - That is just a guess.

  6. Upgrade was smooth.

I do not like the NEW UI - It seems much slower with the pop out windows etc..to me and not as efficient to use as the existing UI.

Speed is al;ways more important then Looks.

I also ran a manual scan - speed seemed ok but it found 5 Issues and I selected Quarantine an now they have disappeared from any Detection or History report.

They are NOT under Quarantine they seemed to have just vanished.

3 were detected as Malware under Windows Installers and the others were issues with some lenovo stuff on the laptop. I do not have details since whatever it detected is now gone.

I am testing this on a Windows Insider Laptop that we use for Windows 10 Home. Version 1903 Build 18975.1000
