I usually ignore Malwarebytes flagging IObit programs and p.u.p.s but now Panda Dome has flagged IObit Uninstaller and Smart Defrag as p.u.p.s as well. Because I'm getting two antimalware programs flagging IObit Uninstaller and Smart Defrag as p.u.p.s I have decided to remove these two programs. I only paid about $5 for the two, so no great loss. I can use defraggler as an alternative to Smart Defrag and Ashampoo Uninstaller 11 as an alternative to IObit Uninstaller.

I can run Malwarebytes 3.0.4 without any problems. The scans are completed in a reasonable time. It's Malwarebytes 3.0.5 that hangs on the heuristics scan. I have gone back to 3.0.4. Should I try to fix this problem or would it better to wait until 3.0.6 comes out?

I found that Malwarebytes 3.0.4 runs perfectly. When I upgraded to Malwarebytes 3.0.5 the heuristics scans took forever. I believe that there are lots of people experiencing the same problem. One person said that he was running 3.0.5 without any problems. His operating system is Windows 7. I wonder if Malwarebytes 3.0.5 has problems running on a Windows 10 operating system. I know that I was running Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and Malwarebytes 3.0.4 without any problems. Hopefully this issue will be addressed with the next upgrade. I don't think I have a malware problem causing the heuristics scans of Malwarebytes 3.0.5 to run forever.

Lifetime licenses are not supported. When I installed Malwarebytes 3.0. I got a license for a year. I had all kinds of problems with Malwarebytes 3.0 and I uninstalled it in disgust. I reinstalled Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit. My unlimited license for Malwarebytes Anti-Malware was replaced with one good for 300 days. Neither of the two older programs caused any problems except for Malwarebytes Anti-Malware flagging some legitimate programs as p.u.p. It had removed two good programs. So I reinstalled the two programs. From then on, I would check to see what programs Malwarebytes was flagging and if I wanted to keep them, click ignore forever. Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and Anti-Exploit do not show up in the list of antivirus programs installed on my computer. That means there is absolutely no conflict with my main antivirus program. I think the main reason Malwarebytes 3.0 didn't work for me in that it is intended to be the main line of defense instead of the second line of defense. I think Malwarebytes needs to put out another program that combines the features of Malwarebytes Anti-Malware with that of Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit and still acts as a second line of defense which Malwarebytes 3.0 obviously doesn't.
