  1. I suggest writing to them if you have any issues. This is known by the hacker communities as one of the best tools out there for protection. I realize that it's frustrating when things don't work and I did write them a fairly mean message a few months ago stating that I would code it for them if they can't get it working. I just apologized for that. It's not easy to have millions of subs and to have a program that works all the time. With a good antivirus and firewall, the pro version of MWB is great. PS: You could get a lifetime license before. I think (don't quote me) but I think that you can still get them by getting the CD on Amazon. If this saves you having to pay every year, I would be happy. I have no money to throw around personally. Let me know if you find some. Hope you do. PS: Be careful with download.com/cnet. Read some articles on it. They have hosted some unsafe files before. I now try to go directly to the source of the download instead. It's the safest that way. Hope any of this helps you. My best, mate.
  2. Sorry but I see a 3.1 link and then a different link in comments, etc. Can a staff member post the latest version and then lock this. I'm sorry. Confused as to which is last working since I see a few links and rather be safe than sorry,
  3. Hey Patham. I just realized that MWB does NOT do phone support so whoever you called was a scam. Glad you hung up. For now, look a few posts above yours. DUUUDE has posted a temporary solution until this is fixed. It should give you a working version from May. THIS IS NOT MY WORK CREDIT TO DUUUDE OLLOWS: dl latest MBAM https://de.malwarebytes.com/mwb-download/thankyou/ optionally these definitions (mbam-rules.exe from the archive is for mbam3 / mbam2-rules.exe is for mbam2) from one day later than the latest MBAM download: https://data-cdn.mbamupdates.com/v1/tools/mbam-rules/data/mbam-r cut internet install go to: Settings > And turn off automatic updates in the leftwise settings tab reconnect to internet and check official post linked above. You will have a working MBAM 3.0 from May 10th/11th 2017. When they have fixed it you can just turn auto updates on again
  4. Look a few posts above, Steve. DUUUUDE has posted a temporary solution until they fix it. You can get a working version dated from a few days ago.
  5. Hi ParrotSteve I just checked haveibeenpwned with the email address associated with my malwarebytes premium and there is no issue there. Do you have an antivirus? Run a scan. If you're not satisfied, check online. You can do a free scan from a reputable antivirus like kaspersky or Bitdefender or microtend, etc...
  6. Hi Padnum. First, please be aware that it's all of the premium accounts (paid or trial). They are experiencing an issue and hopefully it will be fixed soon. You could ask them to extend your free trial due to this once it's fixed (they may or may not agree). Their tech support should be safe but it's pointless to have someone take over your PC at the moment. Maybe you contacted them before the issue was known to be wide-spread. I doubt that they are offering to remotely help people now and are likely asking people to just buckle up and to wait for a fix. Are you experiencing any other issues/concerns other than this? This does not mean anything bad btw. It's just a glitch in the program. It is a great program but it happens every so often.
  7. I realized that I never responded to this. I'm sorry btw. It was a post that was ''cocky''. I know the complexity of simple software and you guys serve millions of people. Issues are bound to arise. Please accept my apology. I was likely having a bad day and should not have taken it out on your lovely staff. There clearly are still issues but they always seem to be fixed fairly promptly. Thank you.
  8. Guys, I was reading and a lot of you think that you're infected (I read most of the threads on the issue starting this morning). You should not be infected if it's the web protection that is off. If you have an antivirus (you should), run a scan if you're upset or worried. However, you likely do not have any reason to be. This is an issue with the program and they will fix it. If you're getting popups, etc...you've opened or visited something and then yes, you could be infected. Do not click on the popups. Go find a reputable online scan like from Kaspersky. If you need any help, a lot of us are here and willing to help. If Malwarebytes is your only protection, avoid pornography unless it comes from a paid site that you already know and trust. I wouldn't accept any new Facebook friendships right now (unless you know the person evidently) and be careful as to what email you open. If the source seems shady, delete. Don't download anything from your email. If it's from your bank, the IRS, etc etc...they usually do not send files via email so go directly to their websites ensuring that you have the proper address. Most of you are not feeling affected, etc but some of you are worried so I hope that this helps. I do not work for Malware (with my low post count duh lol) but these are just things that you can do as common sense. These are things that you should be careful of even if MWB is fully functional. If you need any help, ask away. I met some great people on here who are eager to help out.
  9. You're not infected by a virus, Trojan, etc, mate. It's an issue with the software and I'm sure that they are going to fix it soon. If you have a message that specifically says that you're infected, do not click on it. Scan with your antivirus and find a reputable online software that can give you a free scan like Kaspersky. If you need any help, don't hesitate to ask.
  10. TY for responding to the multiple threads 1PW. When it comes to security, a lot of people panic (me included-we all love our Malwarebytes premium) and people often forget to see if there's any other threads before posting, even if they are close by or on top of one another.... Your responding is giving people peace of mind that it's not just them. They want it fixed obviously but knowing that it's not your PC being targeted is a good thing.
  11. Does anyone know when we can expect a fix or any ETA? Not trying to be pushy btw. It's just that a lot of us rely on this program a lot. With so many payouts being asked for ransomware atm, we can all use as much protection (and common sense of course) as possible.
  12. I have 3.06 It seems that you tried to fix Exploit prevention being turned off every time you reboot but it wasn't a success. Now, web protection goes to starting (so no early start which is dangerous) and I have to reboot a few times to get it to work. It's been since November... Why don't you post your entire code then people can you you fix it since, not to be rude, but it doesn't seem that you guys can. It's been months and you fixed one, broke another and now two are broke. I'm sure that you're trying but people who paid and didn't get a lifetime license are getting screwed over. Since you can't fix it, why not post everything. Some of Reddit's people have fixed other products.
  13. It seems that the web protection bug has been fixed but now, ''exploit protection'' turns itself off every time that I restart the PC. I'm on Windows 10.
  14. Hi Celee. Sorry for delay. Thank you for the response. The only issue that I have now is the software turning it's live protection off by itself when I reboot but I read that they were working on that. Thank you!
  15. The live protection turns off all the time and we have to reactivate it. This is apparently a known issue. It's a bit concerning, even if I have Kaspersky total security running as well. When can we expect a fix for this?
