hiya . Nope. Just MBAM and what I posted in the other thread about avira not liking the installer. I had to cancel install, disable guard and reinstall mbam. Worked fine though. Uninstalling and reinstalling now. I ll use CCleaner afterwards and do another scan when reinstalled. Will take atleast 30 minutes though as this is like really ancient hardware here .

Hey Raid, have we come to a finding what this could be about? Found further references here and here, but not seemingly a final resolution to this. We got a "customer" here who faces the same problem. Could it be to do with AV XP 2008 and MBAM? Thanks. YoHi

Interview with a Malwarebytes developer

nice one, but turning the volume up and down did do a bit of exercise that I usually replace with a good German pils in my hand . -
MBAM mentioned in freewarewiki by Clif Notes
Yourhighness posted a topic in Malwarebytes for Windows
Just thought I let you know that my mail linked me to the latest edition of Clif Notes' Newsletter and found MBAM mentioned there . YoHi -
*coughs* and runs off to do as the boss says so .

Seems MalwareWipe still is fully functional on the system and only the regkey was removed . Should I get Bruce the sample I used for the test run?

Yourhighness replied to sho-dan's topic in General Chat
Thanks guys. Happy Birthday to the others too . Had a blast (and one veeeeery long birthday bash lol - from 9 am to 2.30 am so to say) lol! -
Hey Marcin, off to some function later on, but will give the new version a try asap with some badies. including checking the translation bit (double check lol). have a good one!
-
Yeah. Thats the first thing I tried. This "default" browser thing has been a pain of and on. Might have something to do with Firefox.
-
oke oke, blame it on me . Nah its fine. It ll be my screwed M$ then. I wanted to do a reformat for months now. Lets see how many more til I ll end up doing so ^^. Just was rather strange and I figured you would use the standard programming call for such a function . Ta anyway.

Hey guys, The button that reads "download" here: http://malwarebytes.org/mbam.php directs you to brothersoft. Its blocked by my hosts file. Since a few others use such, I just thought I would point it out. The other servers are fine, just brothersoft that wont work for me.

Hey Marcin, are there any "smaller" ones? I d put one or two on my website, just like to use less "intrusive" (hope thats the right word) banners. Did the same with BC. I ll be redoing my link page and I surely will put a text link to your site. Cheers, YoHi

Hey guys, when going on the about section and clicking the 'www.malwarebytes.org' button, it opens IE to browse to the site, although I use FF and it has also been set to my standard browser. Is that on purpose? Nothing major, but I prefer to have only FF running. Having two Netbrowsers run would just clog up memory even more and with this old brat, the 1.5GB Ram get filled fast . Cheers, YoHi

hehe. Alternatively we could call you Mr. CEO CTO Kleczynski. I d think of others for your colleagues, but I am not knowledgeable of US corporate structure titles lol .

Thats fine. I was more iritated by myself not seing the sent pm. Just used to it from other sites lol. Blame it on my own thickeadedness (hey i just created a new word lol). Thanks everyone.
-
mhhm ok. i cant remember having to do that lol. Might mean that I was silly enough to do the above twice in April and then never again. Well thanks for clearing the fog for me. Typically me .
-
Has anyone noticed the same? I had sent Marcin two pms yesterday, yet the sent items box shows my last pm from april 21st and april 19th. The sending procedure and everything just goes fine. No error messages or anything. Just weird. Not sure if this is the right place, so if its necessary to move the BSG around, please feel free to relocate me . YoHi
